Thermal Ageing Test

To ensure that prolonged use doesn't negatively affect the cable it is important to conduct tests after an accelerated ageing process. Ageing tests determine any variation of mechanical properties, typically in cross-linked and thermoplastic compounds used as insulation and sheathing materials. BAPl has test facility to perform the ageing test on cable as per IS 10810 (Part-11): 1984/IS 7098(Part 2): 2011/IEC 60811-401: 2017/IS 7098(Part I): 1988/IS 1554-1/IS 1554-2 and Other national and International Standard.
